We rented a scooter to take from Pak Chong to Khao Yai National Park. It was a great way to get around since the traffic in the park was very minimal. The scooter costed 12$ to rent and throughout the day we spent 7$ on gas (we travelled over 200 km!!!). The gas was bought in one litre booze bottles from men in cabins throughout the park. At first we were unsure if we could trust the neon green liquid to power our scooter but we were assured by the park rangers that it was legitimate. We visited 3 waterfalls, multiple viewpoints, a watch tower, and hiked a couple trails. We saw lots of monkeys, a water monitor lizard, many different species of butterflies, and a couple species of deer. |
